Privacy Policy

The short version

Luna Post is run by Kokomengi, LLC. We collect the information needed to write your personalized fortune, mail your postcard, and bill your subscription — nothing more. We don't sell your information, we don't share it for advertising, and we don't use it for any purpose beyond running the service you signed up for.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and password.
• Birthday — used to determine the star sign, Chinese zodiac, and numerology your fortunes are written from.
• Mailing address — the recipient name and postal address your postcards are printed and shipped to.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
• Anything you send us directly — for example, if you email us for support.

How we use it

We use your information only to:

• Generate the fortune content on your postcard from your birthday
• Print and mail your postcard to the address on file
• Process and manage your subscription billing
• Respond if you contact us for support

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose outside of delivering Luna Post to you.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers we rely on to run Luna Post, and only what each one needs to do its job:

• Stripe — processes your subscription payment. Stripe receives your payment details and billing email; see Stripe's Privacy Policy for how they handle it.
• Lob — our print-and-mail vendor. Lob receives the recipient name and address needed to print and ship your postcard.

We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.

Entertainment purposes only

Luna Post's fortunes, astrology, numerology, and Chinese zodiac content are provided for entertainment purposes only. They are not financial, medical, legal, or psychological advice, and shouldn't be treated as such.

Cookies

We use only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run analytics that profile you across sites.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we're required to keep records (for example, transaction records Stripe retains for tax and accounting purposes).

Your choices

You can review and update your birthday and mailing address anytime from your profile, and cancel your subscription anytime from your dashboard. To request a copy or deletion of your data, email us at hello@lunapost.co.

Children's privacy

Luna Post isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above and post the revised version here.
