Upright
A summing-up, and something like a summons. Judgement is the moment you see a stretch of your life clearly enough to draw a conclusion from it, and then have to answer the call that conclusion makes. Often it's a return to something you set down.
Reversed
Reversed, the call is being ignored — or you're judging yourself so harshly that no verdict would be survivable. If it's the second, it's worth asking whether the standard you're using is one you'd apply to anybody else.
